ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Lamprini,

and I became a dietitian because I “just wanted to finally lose weight.”

From the age of 10, when I started gaining weight, the way people treated me began to change — from my family restricting what I ate to children at school calling me “fat.”

P. didn’t want me because I wasn’t thin.
Clothes didn’t fit me because I wasn’t thin.
Everyone treated me badly because I wasn’t thin.

Growing up, I had only one wish: TO LOSE WEIGHT.

“I didn’t like my body or my clothes. I envied thinner girls, and I did EVERYTHING I could to lose weight: diets, meal plans — I even came one step away from anorexia nervosa (and I still thought I was fat). I TRIED EVERYTHING.

The final step was to become a dietitian — to learn the magic formula that would make me THIN FOREVER.

I ranked third in the entrance exams for Harokopio University, BUT I still wasn’t happy.

Because, you see, I had a hard time allowing myself to feel joy…

I had learned to downplay my achievements and never let myself celebrate them. EVER!

I had learned not to speak up too much and not to cause any problems.
To try to be a “good girl” and swallow my feelings.

And when I realised that university life wasn’t as dreamy and perfect as I had imagined, I turned once again to the comfort of food and developed binge eating disorder.

And I ended up cycling between dieting and binge-eating episodes for 17 years!

So, this is WHO I AM.

Or rather… THAT WAS ME until 2010.

At 27, I was struggling with eating disorders and low self-confidence.

Until…

After specialising in Eating Disorder and Obesity Management, I recognised my own disordered eating patterns and changed the way I worked.

I stopped handing out diet plans and started focusing on habits instead.

And when I trained in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), I realised just how much my own way of thinking had been holding me back.

I worked on my mindset around food and the way I saw myself. I began to recognise and express my emotions — and, as a result, my behaviour began to change too.

I no longer needed to:

  • swallow my feelings

  • cover myself up

  • hide or make myself smaller because of what I had to say.

I started claiming the space I deserved —
and, funnily enough, my “butt” started taking up a little less space too!

I let go of the belief that “everyone else does everything better than me” and finally quit my job as a “professional worst-case-scenario screenwriter”!

And I became the woman I am today.

A woman who had been hiding inside me all along — and I didn’t even know she existed.

A woman who:

  • Loves looking at herself in the mirror

  • Enjoys wearing stylish clothes

  • Has filled her Instagram account with photos and videos

  • No longer compares herself to others

  • Doesn’t go hungry

  • Doesn’t deprive herself

  • ENJOYS food — and sharing a few drinks with friends

And no, it’s not because I’m eating too much!

It’s because of the joy that comes from finally having a healthy relationship with food and my body.

And because of the INCREDIBLE FULFILMENT I get from helping the people I work with transform their lives FOR GOOD — especially those who are facing the same struggles I once went through myself.

Yes! I’m here to help you, too — just as I’ve helped at least 1,523 people over the past 19 years — finally achieve the body you want and build the relationship with food you deserve.

No diets. No deprivation. No guilt. Through transformative Online Nutrition & NLP Coaching sessions.

Clinical Dietitian – Nutritionist, specialising in Eating Disorders and Obesity Management, and NLP Wellbeing Coach.

My Education and Professional Journey

I studied Dietetics and Nutrition at Harokopio University in Athens, graduating in 2005 and beginning my professional career in the field of nutrition. In 2006, I established my private dietetic practice, where I have since supported people who want to improve their relationship with food and their bodies.

Over the years, I specialised in the treatment of Eating Disorders and Obesity through further training and collaboration with mental health professionals. In 2020, I expanded my approach by gaining certifications in NLP, Wellbeing and Coaching.

This experience has enabled me to combine evidence-based nutritional science with tools for behavioural and mindset change, helping people create sustainable changes and develop a healthier relationship with food — and with themselves.

Why ‘Let’s Thrive for Life’

♥︎ Because you deserve to grow and evolve, to thrive and flourish, to excel, prosper and bloom. You deserve to learn how to bring your everyday life closer and closer to what truly MATTERS to you — even when others tell you, “That’s what everyone wants, but forget it. It’s impossible!”

And all of this through a HOLISTIC approach to life — one that embraces wellbeing rather than focusing solely on appearance or simply on the absence of illness. Wellbeing that you can cultivate by adopting healthy everyday habits as well as empowering beliefs.

Through these, you can take care of both your physical and mental wellbeing, so that instead of simply surviving, you can truly thrive.

♥︎ Recently, I made a major change in my life. I moved to a different country!

I know I’m neither the first nor the last person to do it. But it was something I had been thinking about for years, and this time, I felt the moment was right. I finally felt ready for this change.

I won’t pretend it wasn’t challenging — it was a huge decision and a difficult one to make. But through this change, I feel myself growing every single day. I feel joy and relief because I finally gave myself permission to let go of beliefs, habits and situations that had been weighing me down and holding me back.

There were also parts of my life that I realised I simply didn’t want anymore. I managed to wipe the slate clean and start rebuilding them, day by day — but this time, on my own terms. And that feels incredibly beautiful and refreshing.

That’s why I feel the phrase “Let’s Thrive for Life” truly expresses who I am, what I want, and what I stand for — both in my own life and in the work I do with my clients.

♥︎ The dandelion holds a special meaning across many cultures.

It is considered a symbol of hope, growth and healing, and is believed to represent positivity, energy and strength.

So, it’s no coincidence that we chose it to symbolise and express the holistic philosophy at the heart of my overall approach.
